Jason Smith is the Founder and Managing Partner of Parker Avenue Capital Group, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy, capital partnerships, and long-term growth initiatives.
As a Detroit native, Jason founded Parker Avenue Capital Group after recognizing a growing need for disciplined capital in communities and projects often overlooked by traditional financing sources. His vision was to build a platform centered on capital preservation, structured investing, and long-term alignment between sponsors and investors.
Jason’s background spans real estate development, construction management, and project execution across residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments. His experience working across architecture, construction, development, and ownership provides a practical understanding of how projects move from concept through completion.
At Parker Avenue, he focuses on sourcing opportunities, structuring investments, and evaluating execution risk alongside financial performance. His approach emphasizes conservative underwriting, disciplined capital structures, and downside protection throughout the investment process.
